While working for The Designers Republic in 2008, I produced a promotional mailer for a new,
environmentally sound, carbon neutral, 100% recyclable, high strength material called Priplak. 

The target market for this mailer was other designers and art directors, so it needed to look great
as well as show off all the possible printing techniques. The design used foiling, spot varnish,
3 layers of white print, 3 fluoro PANTONEs blended and a layer of CMYK. 

Small samples of the material were placed inside for the recipients to keep or share, in a selection
of different weights, decorated with different printing processes. 

The idea behind the illustration is that, as designers, if we look past what is dark and grey (the norm)
and become more conscious of the planet by treating it well, we will see something beautiful and
happy (the fluoro inside).
