Canon – Rodeo
Leo Burnett, Sydney

The lads at the Glue Society directed Canon Rodeo for us.

The commercial was mainly created in camera. The set was completely made of pixels, the people were in big foam suits and even the mechanical bull was re-designed to be pixilated. Or boxilated as we called it.
While shooting, we had a few accidents with the real bull and bull riders, resulting in an ambulance to be called. It’s all part and parcel of a great shoot!
This picked up many awards all over the world but was snubbed at Cannes. This was a bit disappointing.
