IKE-HACK
Ikea
2017

Translate the visual identity of an iconic video game into Ikea's objects.

For the design week 2017, Ikea gave the agency carte blanche to hack objects from ikea collection’s.

The 100m² space of the Jospeh Minimes Gallery was fitted out with two cars made from the assembly of pouffes, tables and mechanisms of Ikea products.
Plane and motorcycle were finally made interactive thanks to digital hacking, transforming them into a human-sized controller to control the pilot characters of the Mario Kart video game.

Our playful and fun event translated the visual identity of Mario Kart into Ikea's objects, as a vibrant stage on which visitors could sit and play. A campaign speaking to both parents and children
"The studio proposes a dreamlike journey through Ikea furniture with a ballet of automatons on a human scale."
