Patrick F. McManus has authored a variety of books and short stories, including 3 of my favorites, “The Grasshopper trap”, “Real Ponies Don’t Go Oink” and “Rubber Legs and White Tails Hairs”.

Coupled together, these collections of McManus’s hilarious hunting and fishing tales needed an eye-catching case and book jackets for a re-release. The hand-illustrated covers portray some of the amusing stories inside the pages with art wrapping around front to back.

The case for these 3 books needed to stand out and do justice to Pat MacManus’s humorous theme of outdoorsmanship. The packaging is tactile, unique and displays one of McManus’s mantras regarding ensuring that one’s fishing line is in the water and tangled in the brush.
