Final Project for Offsite | 2020 | Industrial Design
Last 2020, I was blessed to be given the opportunity to join the pilot program of Offsite by Advanced Design. Offsite is a 12-week online program looking to disrupt design education and offer a real world view of the design profession through the instruction of industry leaders. This water bottle project is an application of some of the different learnings I got from some of the classes.
Challenge
From a distance, the average consumer can't identify one disposable water bottle brand over another. They all look pretty much the same. How might we make a bottle stand out from all the others on the store shelf?

Solution
One similarity I noticed from all the existing water bottles in the market is that they are all cylindrical and symmetrical. My design for the given problem is to simply do the opposite without taking away the ease in handling the bottle.
Storyboarding was done to develop and illustrate the user experience of the concept.
