Mombasa Port Sacco
PROJECT SCOPE
Mombasa Port Sacco undertake deposit-taking Sacco business in Kenya (popularly known as Front Office Service Activity or FOSA). The society runs FOSA and BOSA activities with each having its own financial products and services. The Sacco has a membership of 5,500 members. The sacco was looking to increase membership number without the customers going to their office. Accessibility of product and services on the entire website without confusion. The current website couldn't accommodate the features so they had to redesign to suit the customer need.
DIRECT CONTRIBUTION
As UX/UI Designer I was involved in all phases of the project, finding out the problem to delivering final designs. I was responsible for carrying out Users Research, UX Design, Visual Design, Prototyping and User Testing
DESIGN RATIONALE
With the redesigned website the users are able to register themselves without going to SACCO offices through the portal CTA on the navigation bar. Users are able to get in touch with office at glance for assistance with contact information provided on landing page. Well focused of their products and services with minimal CTA. Structured user flow that help the customers to get wha they want at shortest time possible. New features that allow users to interact with and serve themselves at anytime.
