MULTIGENERATIONAL CENTER OF INTEGRATION AND CULTURE IN RYBNIK – ADAPTATION AND EXPANSION OF „STARA GAZOWNIA” BUILDING
The project is a proposition of adaptation of historic building's of "Stara Gazownia" its expansion in Rybnik, Poland. There are new functions added to the landmarked building, which will ease the access to various means of culture for the inhabitants of Rybnik's "Śródmieście". It will also create an area which will be integration friendly and will be available regardless of age or worldview.
Three storey buildings has been divied into sections which are related to functions such as: studio cinema, little theater, integration area and "anti-café".
The historic building and the new structure were both ajusted to the hill which is present in the area with an exception for the western side of the conception where it has been technical facility of the building has been created.
