'이게 아닐지도 I might be wrong'은 공연예술가 김이슬의 움직임을 모티브로 한 그래픽 리서치 작업이다.

김이슬은 정해진 주제에 맞춰 안무를 만드는 일반적인 과정에서 벗어나서, 공간과 상황에 따라 발생한 즉흥적인 움직임을 먼저 보여준 뒤 관객들의 시선을 수집한다. 움직임을 본 관객들 각자가 자신만의 주제를 정한다. 이렇게 정해진 주제는 안무가가 생각한 것이 맞을 수도 있고, 아닐 수도 있다. 관객들이 공유해준 이야기에서 다시 영감을 얻어 움직임이 만들어지기도 한다. 한 번의 공연으로 끝나는 것이 아니라, 계속 연결되는 '과정'이다.

* 공연은 코로나19로 인해 영상공유 방식으로 진행되었다.

'I might be wrong' is a graphic research project based on the movement of performance artist Kim Esl. Esl does not make choreography according to the set theme, but tries to collect the audience's attention after showing impromptu movements. Each of the audience who saw the movement decides their own theme. The subject set in this way may or may not be what the choreographer thought. In some cases, movements are made by being inspired again by the stories shared by the audience. It does not end with one performance, it becomes a 'process' that continues to connect.

* The performance was shared on video because of the covid-19.

그래픽에서는 '틀림'과 '연결'에 주목하였다. 틀린 것을 체크하는 붉은 선과 연결을 의미하는 붉은 실을 모티프로 삼았다. 다양한 굵기의 붉은 실은 동작 몇 가지를 표현하기도 하며 엉켜있기도, 풀려있기도 한다. 보는 사람의 시선에 따라 주제가 달라지는 공연처럼, 보는 사람이 해석하기 나름의 추상적인 형태를 표현하고자 하였다.

공연의 협업자(관객)를 구하는 웹 포스터 / 홍보 영상 / 공연 과정을 기록한 아트북 / 티셔츠 디자인을 진행하였다.

In the graphic, 'wrong' and 'connections' were noted. A red line that checks for wrong things, red thread which means connection, is used as a motif. Red threads of various thicknesses express some of the movements of the Kim Esl, some of which are tangled and some of which are loose. Like a performance in which the theme varies depending on the viewer's view, the viewer tried to express his or her own abstract form of interpretation.

I designed a web poster, a promotional video, a T-shirt, and an art book that recorded the performance process.
