The Fiesta Typeface is inspired by the culture of Rio Carnival. Masks and colours are the two elements which are closely associated with fiesta. So, the basic structure of the Fiesta Typeface is created using eye mask. It is customized for promotion of Rio Carnival which is considered the biggest carnival in the world. Elements like feather, eye mask, trumpet, and designs of samba dancers costume are used in the construction of the type.

The typeface has been used for branding and advertising of Rio Carnival 2018, to portray the Brazilian culture of carnival consisting of samba parade, dance and music.
