What is Pulsar?

Pulsar is an electricity-free kitchen mixer. It works like a salad spinner, converting a downward push to high-power mixing.
Why Pulsar?

Pulsar finds the sweet spot between wrist-cramping hand whisking and bulky stand mixers. The ergonomic push-to-mix motion allows most bakers to whisk without the need of an energy guzzling electric mixer.
Development

Starting from the idea of creating a human-powered alternative to stand mixers, ideation explored a variety of mechanisms.
3D Printed Tests

Working from the related patents of salad spinners and push drivers, the mechanical components were designed and tested for smooth motion.
3D printed subcomponents to test the mechanical viability.
Refinement

The final form draws inspiration from modern kitchen appliances and space-age gadgets in a design that looks forward to a greener future earth.
Pulsar exploded.
