(Project for Graphic Design History class)
The task was to create a concept or design that incorporated elements of Philippine culture, aesthetics, or history—simply put, anything Filipino. I wanted to create something that is rare to find, or not commonly made, in the country. Hence, PINO VINO is a brand and product line concept of Filipino wines, rich with flavors of the Philippine's homegrown fruits and infused with the Philippine's unique flowers.




The label design combines elements of the Baybayin alphabet - the original dialect of the Philippines - with modern type design, while the packaging design is a pattern that incorporates the aesthetic of Philippine weaving with shapes and vectors that represent the fruits and flowers of the Philippines.
