60 young people from countries bordering the black sea (Romania, Moldova, Russia, Georgia, Ukraine and Turkey) + some German students came together in Turkey to learn German + Turkish and to participate in our film workshops. The end result was 4 films made by the teenagers, around the topic of water, leading to lots of new intercultural friendships. The project was part of the PASCH school network that the Goethe Institute organizes.
Glocal Films aims to communicate intercultural experiences, to refashion conventional views of marginal subjects and to facilitate the democratic and communal use of technology and filmic expression.

PASCH stands for the "Schools: Partners for the Future" initiative. It is a global network of some 1,500 schools that place a high value on German.
PASCH is an initiative of the Federal Foreign Office in cooperation with the Central Agency for Schools Abroad (ZfA), the Goethe-Institut (GI), the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and the Educational Exchange Service of the Standing Conference of the Ministers of Education and Cultural Affairs of the Länder in the Federal Republic of Germany (PAD).

60 SchülerInnen aus der Türkei, Rumänien, Russland, Georgien, der Republik Moldau, der Ukraine und Deutschland trafen sich am PASCH-Schwarzmeercamp 2012 in der Türkei, um dort Deutsch sowie Türkisch zu lernen und Filme über das Thema 'Wasser' mit Glocal Films zu machen. 4 Filme, selbst erdacht und gedreht von den SchülerInnen sind dabei entstanden, sowie dieser Imagefilm, der das Camp dokumentiert und Informationen zur PASCH Initiative gibt.
