Canfaito's beech trees between fog & silence
A magical place in the middle of Italy where nature reign undisputed.
An altiplane, in Marche Region, called "Canfaito"; from latin "campum faiutum" that is "Canfaito" (Field of Beech Trees).
The fog began to keep me company from breakfast.
Like a white cloth that covers the indefinite forms of an artistic work, even the thick fog hides the beauty of the undergrowth from an impatient eye.⠀
Sitting in the middle of the silence, broken only by the fall of a few leaves without sap, I patiently wait for the moment when the light makes its way through the dense labyrinth of copper and leaves.⠀
A moment, ephemeral, which actually seems to last an eternity.⠀
Shaky fingers press the shutter button.⠀
Et voilà.⠀
The magic was captured.
