Stairway to Europe
We were commissioned to create a permanent installation for a newly built residential building named Mavrik in Luxembourg. Mavrik has a striking facade hiding 19 apartments, emphasis lies on enhanced energy efficiency as the building is made entirely of insulation blocks.
Working with the colour scheme of the building the artwork tells the story of a young couple in Luxembourg getting pulled into their computers at work and then flying into a Luxembourg dream world, flying over the city and finally flying up towards the EU stars and globe.
