EVERYDAY ARCHITECTURE
We had to choseĀ a protagonist from a movie of our choice and design an apartment for them. It wasn't about designing something super modern or anything like that but to really focus on analyzing how people really use all these fancy houses that architects design. We were allowed, even asked, to show clothes horses, sockets and other random things like these. I chose Margot Tenenbaum from the movie 'The Royal Tenenbaums' by Wes Anderson as theĀ protagonist. I did a lot of collages, added a characterĀ description of the protagonist to get to know her a little bit better. Also, there are filmstills and a poster for the project.Ā My main focus was on the model, which turned out to look like a tiny dollhouse.
