"Think More Buy Less"
This illustrated book is created to reflect the ways of life in nowadays consumptionism and materialism society by using the famous European pieces of art in the past to be recreated as sarcastic illustration. Since the artists’ works have remarkably represented people living styles in interesting different period, the project owner adjusts the artworks to cumulatively match with the context of present Thai society. The mask on each character represents new generation’s behavior who often wears mask while meeting according to the society role to hide his/her own real identity. Moreover, the project owner designs gimmick of the book box allowing it to work as a credit card scanner as to retort back the paying behavior of those who willingly to be materialism prey.
