Concept__
The concept of the project is surround with passive digital footprints. Without proper management of passive digital footprints could leads to potential risks and the idea are come from one of the risks—Identity theft.
The title of the project is “Doppelganger”, the term is referred as two persons look-alike but unrelated. The term also often portrayed in fiction and mythology as paranormal phenomena and seen as a sign of bad luck.
Synopsis__
This story is about the consequences of not managing digital footprints well which leads to identity theft.
An anonymous wandering in the virtual community, leaves digital footprints behind. From these traces, an impersonated anonymous is formed. This impersonator sabotage the virtual world of the anonymous. It is too late when the anonymous realized the threat. Eventually, the impersonator remains at large and the anonymous is gone.
