ARTE TV Documentary - Uyghur Minority in Danger

Back in early 2019, as Illustrator, I had the opportunity to work on significant project.
Gulbahar Jalilova, from the Uyghur community, was detained in so call "Re-education" camp in Xinjiang region in China.
For the french television, Keyi Productions recorded her testimony as well as many others.
Here is her illustrated story.

Full documentary available at the end

"We received shots several times a week, here or here. we had to hold out our arms through a hole in the door. We started to realise that we missed our periods due to the shots. I stopped bleeding one month after my arrival. We stopped thinking about anything, even our families. I didn't know anymore where i was born. We weren't cold or hot, we felt like a discarded pieace of meat."
