It's a truism that as you get older you tend to lose touch gradually with popular music and tend to retreat back to the music of your youth. One performer whose music snapped me out of that reverie was Amy Winehouse. The song was 'Rehab' with it's insistent beat and rhythm. This was a mature, sophisticated sound destined for greatness. The song also forecast her tragic demise.
