GAD 2001 - Brand Identity: Releaf Tea

For our Brand Identity project we were instructed to design a subscription kit that would support the health of our customers.  COVID-19 has made online shopping and staying indoors the norm, so subscription kits are a creative way to try new things from the comfort of your home.  This project was a semester-long endeavor and challenged us to create a comprehensive brand with a variety of components.
The components included in this project were a logo, business card, packaging, catalog, and website.  It was important for each of us to establish a strong theme, design style, color scheme, etc. early on in the process.
Most of us were using Adobe Dimension and Adobe XD for the first time, which was an interesting learning experience.  I really enjoyed working with both of the programs and I'm excited to see what else I can do with them in my future courses.
My brand centers around the healing power of tea.  Whenever I buy products for my health, the phrase "instant relief" usually sells me on it.  I used that phrase for inspiration and came up with the name "Releaf Tea."
We constantly looked at resources online to find inspiration and created a lot of moodboards in the process.  My eyes were opened to the wonderful world of packaging and I'm sure I'll never look at a box of tea the same again.
This project strengthened me the most as a designer this semester.  I improved my time management skills, learned how to collaborate with others for feedback, and how to keep a lot of moving parts (and deadlines) in order.  I really enjoyed it and I'm thankful for the experience.
