In this exercise, we were challenged to make icons about a certain topic. I chose to make sewing icons because I'm an avid sewer and knew they'd be useful since I'm always misplacing things (especially pins and needles). I wanted to keep the style pretty minimal so that they were easily recognizable. To add a little more color and appeal I chose to incorporate them in a grid with color blocked squares.
