This guy has appeared in my work since 2014 in different forms each time. Bauhausmann is a comic only character now but was a fun costume to make originally, which incorporated elements of primitivism, bauhaus and dada design.

The comic series he appears in, 'Bauhausmann and the Dadas' is made up of short strips featuring characters who started life as costumes for my various art installations. The series focuses on the adventures of the dadas, who own an art gallery along with Bauhausmann. His first name was revealed in 2021 as Oskar, named after Oskar Schlemmer, one of the original bauhaus tutors.
