우리들을 위로하기 위해 시작된 프로젝트입니다.
돌탑을 사람의 연약함이 모여 있는 구체적 형상물로 바라보고, 중력에 이끌려 한데 모여 살아가는 우리들의 모습을 다양한 사물과 방식, 매체를 통해 가시적으로 표현합니다. 연약한 사물들과 소통하며 진행된 작업은 우리 주변의 사물이 단순한 사물을 넘어 우리와 함께 호흡을 주고받는 존재임을 드러내고, 나아가 사람과 유사한 면면을 포착하여 서로에게 의지하고 위로하며 살아가는 생명공동체로서의 유대를 이야기합니다. 모든 연약한 것들에게 따뜻한 위로가 되길 바라며 작고 가벼운 존재들이 중력에 이끌리고 강한 아우라를 뿜어내는 순간을 조명합니다.

It is a work that comforts us. Looking at the stone pagoda as a concrete shape of human weakness, we express our lives in various ways through various objects, methods, and media. Studies conducted by communicating with fragile objects reveal that the objects around us are breathing together beyond simple objects, and furthermore, we talk about bonds, comfort, and life as a community of life that relies on each other. It is about a moment when small and weak beings are attracted to gravity and then give off a strong aura.

Art Film
물리학 용어로도 사용되는 ‘weak forces’는 약한 상호작용을 뜻한다. 일상에서 수집된 7가지 사물에서 발견한 인간과 유사한 면면들은 에세이로, 오브제로 변형되어 각 성격을 드러내고, 서로가 미약한 힘으로 끌어당겨 한 데 모이게 된다.
The term 'weak forces' also used in physics means weak interactions. Human-like aspects found in seven objects collected in daily life are essays, transformed into objets, revealing each personality, and brought together by each other with feeble force.
Kinetic Installations
두 세가지의 소재가 얽힌 세 개의 인스톨레이션은 스스로 동작하며 각자의 성격을 드러낸다.
The three installations of two or three materials work on their own and reveal their personalities.
Kinetic 1.
드러난 골격이 흉기가 되는 날카로운 철근. 철근과 실, 이끼는 서로를 해치면서도 위로한다.
A sharp steel bar that can become a weapon. Reinforcing bars, tangled threads, and moss comfort each other while hurting each other.
Kinetic 2.
세월의 풍파로 인해 녹슬고 색이 변한 철과 마른 식물. 서로에게 기대어 위태롭게 움직인다.
Iron and dry plants that have been rusted and colored by the storm of time. They lean on each other and move precariously.
kinetic 3.
형태가 없는 말랑한 사물들과 낡고 헤진 천. 실로와 실의의 공통점으로 둘은 연결되어 있다.
Unformed soft objects and worn cloth. The two have something in common that they have lost their goals.
Interactive Installation
연약함은 우리의 모습이며 이끌려짐은 우리가 살아가는 방식이다. 돌탑에 돌을 내려놓으며 연약한 존재들과 소통한다. 돌멩이를 올려 놓으면 새로운 생명력을 상징하는 사운드가 재생된다.
Weakness is our appearance and being led is the way we live. They put stones on the stone pagoda and communicate with weak beings. When a stone is placed on top of it, a sound symbolizing new vitality is played.
