Modular Construction for economic residential building
Affordable housing is one of the most serious problems in Egypt in general and Alexandria in specific. With a population growing at a rate of approximately 2 percent per year, Egypt is faced with an urbanization crisis, as many of its cities find themselves increasingly overcrowded. Egypt’s housing crisis affects millions across the country. The most visible symptom of Egypt’s urbanization problem has been the lack of low-income and social housing available across the country. The aim of this project is to use an alternative way to reduce the expenses without decrease the quality of the housing projects by using modular construction as an alternative way of construction for social housing that will reduces cost, and time and increases quality, and productivity.
