Operating for over 60 years, the AAEES provides education and credentialing in the field of environmental engineering. To accomplish this mission, the academy depends upon financial support obtained from individual memberships and the organizations in which members work including corporate and consulting firms and public and government organizations.

The AAEES Patrons Program is offered to corporate and consulting firms and public and government organizations with the goal of co-branding patrons with the academy, to recognize and appreciate them for their sponsorship of the academy. Participants in the Patrons Program receive multiple benefits including recognition on the AAEES website and at AAEES events.

Patrons also receive a listing in the Environmental Engineering and Science Resource Guidebook, complimentary tickets to the annual Excellence in Environmental Engineering and Science Awards Conference and Luncheon, and two free entries to the E3S competition among other benefits. Patron contribution amounts are $8,000 for the corporate and consulting category and $6,000 for the public agency and government category.
