An Experiential Approach to Workplace Design
Connecting the Dots:
What connects people to the workplace?
What makes a space stimulating for productivity?
What do people want their workplace to be?
Work:
What does one require to work? Well the common idea is just a system and a workstation.
The space that we work in plays a great role in how we work. It can be both the physical and psychological infrastructure.
But how do we measure that a space is ideal to work in? Look beyond the 4 wall enclosures.
Design:
The link that connects the work with space.
Design is not a one shoe fits all. The nuances of work require an experiential approach, not just a visual one.
Understanding the multi-faceted nature of design.
Workplace demands a design that caters to our physical, mental, psychological and emotional needs holistically.
It is complex yet when broken down, deals with the simplest of activities and human behavior.
Break out of what is conventional and known. Unlearning is sometimes the best way to explore new opportunities and break out of the norms.
Let’s dive into the various nodes of experiential design and
how we can connect all these dots to create a more humane and engaging workplace environment

Space for 3 COs: Cooperate, Collaborate and Conversate
Activity based working: Flexible spaces

Space to Unwind
The new Workplace Ecosystem: Digital Environments
Space to Play

Experiential Design: Simplest of ideas yet when connected together, can be an impactful workplace design
Putting things into perspective. Thinking from a 3 dimensional point of view
The Boundaries and Flow of Spaces: Enabling the efficient adjacencies, movement and privacy
