Bachelor Project - Pet Shelter
2020
The goal of this project is to create a shelter built around a itinerary defined according to the users and their needs, while proposing new activities to make this shelter a place of interest for everyone, including people simply looking for a place to relax with the added bonus of the possibility to work for a good cause.

With this in mind, the shelter offers a cat bar where it is possible to buy treats, the profits of which would be directly reinvested in the shelter, but also a park with areas that can receive dogs and visitors wishing to play with them. These spaces are used by both visitors and adopters, who can use them to fill out the adoption questionnaire to be given to the staff who then come to pick us up to take us to see the animals, thus being able to directly guide us to animals whose habits are in line with those of the adopters.

The animals' living spaces are arranged to correspond to their characteristics (sociability, access to the outside world or not, illnesses...) to allow them to show their true personality and to live their stay at the shelter to the best of their ability.

There are also abandonment boxes with access at the opposite end of the refuge itself to allow discreet abandonment in complete privacy, thus avoiding the judgments of other visitors and staff on this act, which is sometimes quite understandable and heartbreaking for the masters, sometimes leading to wild abandonment which is anything but desirable.
In addition, all communication, from the website to the signage and posters are designed to make the refuge known and attract new visitors.
