Self-Induced Aesthetics in 3D Printing
In the additive manufacturing process, large print-use product's layer taints can be noticed considerably.
These layer taints can be removed from the surface with post-processing.
In this project, I altered this disadvantage to "Streamline" aesthetics by using each layer thickness. In this way, 3D printer's can create patternable streamline detail on the product surface. After the several tests, I found the high layer thickness gives a more clear look effect in transparent materials. This technique can be effective in many decorative product industries for producing fast 3D print-use products.
