We love to push ourselves to new horizons—this time, we designed a modern cyber environment built-in 3D in Unreal Engine. The virtual set was displayed on high-resolution LED walls and match with the camera movement.

Making of
My vision for this demo was to create a sci-fi environment by mixing a gloomy, dark, and wet space at the ground level, then shifting into a colorful and bright skyline neon as the camera tilts. I achieved this dramatic mood by kitbashing assets from Unreal Marketplace, Turbosquid, CG Trader, KitBash3D, Quixel Megascans and own packages.
Lighting is essential to the mood and composition I wanted for this demo. Since the project was rendered in real-time, I focused on achieving the right atmosphere and color transitions thinking about the optimization process.
I also created a few different decal materials to give the scene greater depth. I used them for puddles, graffiti, dirt, and signage, sometimes playing with opacity levels and sort order to allow graffiti and dirt to render above a decal layer.
