STRIPTEASE REBRANDING

Strip-Tease is a Belgian television documentary program that first aired on RTBF 1 in 1985. It later aired in Franco-Belgian on France 3 in 1992. According to its creators, it aims to treat subjects «caught in the facts of society». The program is considered controversial for its crude discussion of difficult situations.

The show’s new logo continues the layout of the old logo, while modernizing its typography and adding some graphic elements.
The concept of the logo is based on censorship, that Strip-Tease shows people that TV doesn’t always wants to show.
The first part of the logo: STRIP, is written with a ! instead of the i, as if the word had been censored. The upper part is crossed out, as if it had been spontaneously written on, to hide something that you do not want to see.
The typography of the logo brings a more serious side than the old one, more modern and digital, however the erasure brings back a playful, a little rebellious side, characteristic of the show.
