Design a proposal to integrate a check-in online feature in the Indie Campers’ booking process with the following objectives:
/ Remind client on his trip details
/ Accelerate the pick-up process
/ Review pick-up and drop-off specifications allowing to change timings
/ Cross-selling
Solution / LEAN UX CANVAS
The main challenge is the lack of knowledge that I have about the business model, booking process and the check-in itself. In order to deliver a solution that can be valuable to the company and the user I would need to fully understand the value proposition.
As an outsider I will need to create several assumptions to base all the project so I will apply a lean UX model that will help me to think over the business side and users expectations creating hypotheses to guide me thought the design.
The aim of lean UX is to show your work early and often to the team/ customers, collect their insights and build that into the next iteration of the design.
The Lean UX canvas will help me think over the business (in a really basic way), identify problems and possible solutions and create hypotheses that in this case will be the knowledge base to guide me thought out the design process.

At this point and before started paper-prototyping I missed a structured diagram to understand how many steps/features can I include in each step of the check-in process. To help me I created the following basic diagram that identifies the main features available in each screen and defines all the call to actions in the process.
