Büch Craft Kombucha is an imaginary kombucha (fermented tea) company that uses traditional brewing methods and high quality ingredients. They use just the essentials to create a delicious, refreshing, and nourishing drink that everyone can enjoy. They needed a logo and packaging design to represent their brand and catch attention on store shelves.

I began with the idea for the label art; using simple geometric forms (inspired by Bauhaus and mid-century modern design) to reflect the ingredients in each flavor. The simplicity of shapes reflects the company’s use of “just the essentials.” These designs led me to the logo, which uses a font very similar to “Universal,” created by Bauhaus designer, Herbert Bayer.
