Butts & Arrows Creative tasked the talents of Steven Noble to create a custom scratchboard woodcut illustration for Denizen Rum which pays homage to the courageous slaves who rebelled against their British colonist in Guyana on August 18th, 1823. Denizen Vatted Dark Rum embodies the liberated spirit which is the essence of their brand. Rich in history and flavor, their rum combines dark rum blended in the old vatted style which is produced in Guyana, renowned for its sugar cane. The woodcut illustration technique and style fits very well with this historical period and the successful launch of the Denizen brand.
