THE PHOTO SOCIETY is a group of contributing photographers for National Geographic Magazine, committed to telling the world’s stories through pictures. They have a monthly contest on Instagram open for all photographers of the world. On August I decided to participate with a photography, which is part of a Project. This project is about names. All Coreans has specials meanings in their names. They believe their names influence their personality and their life. I started to make portraits about Coreans girls and their meaning name. One of them, is of my friend Nayeon Kang, which name meaning ´Beautiful Lotus Flower´. I uploaded the photography on the August contest and I was selected by Ira Block, who is a renowned National Geographic photographer.
