In the summer of 2020 Bargeway Pub approached Wild Giant to give their business a facelift. The ownership had changed and so did the vision for the restaurant; the new leadership wanted it to be a hub for entertainment and quality food and beer.
The property sits in the shadows of the local grain silos, where the regions grains come to before being loaded on trucks and more specifically: barges. The building is perched on above the Columbia River, in this particular spot barges can be seen coming and going all day long.
Our approach was to blend this story in a way that felt authentic to the business. It was requested we create a graphic paying tribute to the silos that loom large over the courtyard and give the brand identity as whole a classic "beer" feel. The Bargeway is now wildly popular within the Columbia Gorge area and the branding continues to be used in fantastic ways.
