2019 Corporate Photo Session
I'm happy to share my 1st corporate photoshoot which took a place in my home country Amman - Jordan back in May 2019 using professional lighting equipment, The Godox AD 600 Pro & Godox SL60 LED.
It was a great & challenging experience to find a suitable angle to shoot in tight & bust space specially when you have a lot of work to do because this shoot was for my company where I work, The approach was " Just a Portrait " and I thought I could do more than that, So I tried to mix lighting with gels but it was too dramatic, Then I decided to go for the Natural Light Look.
I started the setup with my Godox AD 600 Pro strobe with huge diffuser in front as a natural light source close to a window, Operating in full power to fill the space which what happened because this light is damn strong!
For the fill I used a continuous light source " Godox SL 60 " attached to 140cm Godox octagon in the opposite side of the AD 600 Pro, The mixing between Strobe & Continuous lighting was a bad idea to be honest because it didn't help me freezing the subject, a lesson to be learned for the next shooting.
The camera was my Canon 5D Mark III, I did a test with my canon 24-70mm F4 L lens but the lens was not fast enough for this setup so I switch to the Canon 100mm L macro lens and the Canon 50mm F/1.8 as a portrait lens and both worked pretty well. How ever, I noticed chromatic aberration around the edges and I should closed the aperture down but that will require to move the lights again which I didn't have enough time to do that.
Another issue I want to highlights is to be cautious about the background specially for unwanted objects like the blue desk in the office, I thought that I could get rid of it in the post but it was very difficult thing to deal with. Speaking of post, I did all of the adjustments in Adobe Camera Raw, I had to say working with groups will make your job very hard when it comes to skin tones, I'm from a video production background so maybe I will apply the white balance white paper next time :)

I had to crop a lot of the images because it was extremely busy that I had to wait till it gets empty to take a shoot.
At the end, I'm very happy with the results specially it was my 1st photoshoot with professional equipment, C-Stands are heavy and when I add soft box or octagon it becomes way heavier, 1 man army job and it gets done.
I would like to thank every person who showed up to set in-front of the camera to make this beautiful imagery, Big Thank You for Like & Appreciation :)
