Hyangnam Postcard

Bruch Shop hosted a postcard exhibition titled "Hometown".
I was lucky enough to be asked to participate and I decided to reflect on my time in South Korea.
Postcards are now available online.
Hyangnam is obviously not the place I was born or grew up. However, it’s the first place I lived on my own and the first time I lived outside of South Africa. Almost everyday that I walked to and from my workplace I would pass through the public-square. Compared to the rest of Korea, there wasn’t anything truly unique about it. Nevertheless, it’s special to me because it’s a place where I made so many good memories. I’ve illustrated a lot of the things I would see, do, and eat in that area; images that make me reminisce about that time in my life.
