Concept
The Intro title sequence for Slumdog Millionaire is centered on specific themes from the film in order to create a cohesive collage-based aesthetic. Money, violence, love, and passage of time were prevalent throughout the film and influenced our group to design around these principles.
Roles
Our workflow was non-linear; the phases and tasks were swapped, repeated or taken over when it was necessary to maximize the quality of the end result. The following images depict the areas in which I worked most.
My contributions to the piece aside from animation and choriography of elements included conceptual / metaphorical developement. I wanted to emphasize on pulling out key elements from the film to depict what the viewer is about to see without giving away the actual storyline.
