Christmas Animation

In November 2020, I was approached by Neonhive to work on their Christmas animation for their emails, social media and e-greetings cards.

Korina, Matt and Geo are a small boutique PR company who have marketed and worked with studios such as Wolfeye Studios, Revolution, and Other Tales Interactive, and this year they wanted something fun to send to their clients as a thank you, so we teamed up to create an animated cartoon of all three of them, 4 animations and a series of wallpapers!

The original concept for this was to make some that showed a personal side to Neonhive - we wanted it to be a personal greeting from the team to the clients.
This led to playing around with each team member having items or iconography associated to them...

In the final designs, each character illustration was separated on their own hexagon - to match the logo's symbol - and a core colour for each member too to add some variety to each image when it appears on social media.

And extra that came from the group illustration was to make an icon pattern - so we used some of the items and stationary from the final illustrations and created a branded pattern, as well as a series of spot illustrations for them to use in their marketing over the Christmas period...

The animations were set for social media and email mail outs. 
This was just a 15 frame loop animation for each character and the group illustration too!

These were animated using Final Cut Pro and Photoshop...
