Perspective/ mixed Drawings

This was the first perspective drawing i had done since I was in school.
It was drawn in 2010 and to enhance the lines I used Photoshop
The house is a 2point perspective drawing i did for my college entrance assignment; the brief was to come up with way to save water in the average household. One of my concepts was to change the aesthetics of the, commonly used, everyday rain barrel. As you can see the new idea takes up all of the available space on the side of the house, but the unique feature is the fact that there is an incorporated trellis, which enables the user to grow plants up its side. in time the water collection container will become hidden, removing it from the sight of guests. Even without the plants the container could be molded in any artistic design allowing it to become a center piece of any garden.
This was a class project, exploring the development of a product board, enabling a better understanding, which held no course accreditation. The idea was to look at a piece of existing technology and think of a new feature the equipment could offer, and deliver an A3 drawing that best explains this concept.
The idea here, was to have a phone that could take videos/ pictures, allowing the user a view that would not be spoiled by the phones normal boarder i.e. the image would take up the entirety of the phones available face, allowing the user to feel they are looking at a real life image, rather than a picture on a phone. As you can see from the drawing the picture is more colourful and vibrant than the original...
