Of all the collateral I wrote while employed by ARS Advertising, this was one of my favorites. This project allowed me to be about as creative as I am when writing for myself. I felt that the writing embodied the Maytag brand as it was and is and paid heartfelt homage to everyone who ever worked for the company, used their products or has ever washed laundry. Reading Maytag brand literature past and present was helpful in capturing the right tone for this and other pieces of collateral I created. Jason Sabo of ARS Advertising was the graphic designer on this project. His work and my work combine to create a once in a lifetime brochure.
