"Backbone of the World"by Edward Louis Henry
The goal of this cover design transmorphed as this project developed. A series of photos were submitted
to base this cover design on, some were great shots some so-so. The final goal eventually was achieved after we steered away from more modern aesthetic attempts. The last cover comp here below was the winner because it had the feel of a old photo found in a attic from fur trapping days in the Rocky Mountains.
All graphics, photo manipulation, and design created in Photoshop. Type effects created in Photoshop as well.
