My friend Jared is standing on a small bridge in the park. I liked the sunlight coming through the trees in the background.
Portrait Finished
I darkened the hue and saturation, deepening the natural colors.
Landscape Original
I caught the sunset at the end of my hike through Magnaughten Park.
Landscape Finished
I cropped the photo to focus in on the tree and sunset. I also turned down the brightness and saturation.
Detail Original
This tree looked like it came out of a fantasy world.
Detail Finished
I colorized this, and changed the hue and saturation to achieve a sepia tone effect.
Action Original
I caught the bee moving on this yellow flower.
Action Shot Finished
I turned the brightness, hue and levels up to enhance the colors.
Rule of Thirds Original
This is the bridge that Jared was standing on and I decided to take some pictures of it from a low-angle.
Rule of Thirds Finished
I used the spot healing brush to get rid of extra bits of leaves and specks. I also cropped the image so the bridge had no visible end. And I colorized the photo and lowered the hues and saturation for this darker look.
Symmetry Original
The symmetrical shape of this flower caught my eye.
Symmetrical Finished
I brightened the picture using the brightness and contrast tool. I also used the spot healing brush to clean up the flower petals.
