Other GhostsA BFA Thesis
In May of 2010, I submitted my final thesis in pursuit of my BFA in Art Education and Painting from the Appalachian Center for Craft. The following pieces comprise that show, which sought to examine the inherent composition and emotional impact of everyday stains. To create this show, I took photographs of particularly well-composed stains that I came across and converted them into five large-scale paintings. I also created a series of small paintings that came from the process of creating the larger works.
