A music video for part of the song Pioneer to the Falls by Interpol. The video tells the story of a bird that represents death and loss. As this bird travels through the sparse landscape, everything it flies over it infects with its death by covering everything in darkness. It finally reaches a resting point and its own darkness it had been spreading consumes it. This is representative of death being all consuming. 

Created using After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, video footage effects, both hand and digitally drawn animation, other hand drawn elements and a whole lot of masking.
