Original. The photo was taking in the Markin Center and offers visual of the setting where the events are taking place.
Altered - Landscape. I adjusted the curves, increased the saturation +50 and contrast +25, and set the gamma correction at 0.85.
Original. A photo of the upper balcony of Markin, taken from the first floor, to offer a different viewpoint.
Altered - A more detailed look. I edited the exposure +1.78 and the offset 0.300, increased the filter density by 50 percent on the "underwear" setting, and edited the color balance: cyan: -25, magenta: -25, and blue: +25. I looked to brighten the photo and altered the viewing of it, which is why it appears slightly green.
Original. A photo of the different fraternity / sorority memebers in attendance at a 3-on-3 basketball game because the fans were seperated by groups, but the cheering was universal.
Altered - Symmetrical composition. I increased the contrast +100 and decreased the brightness -50, increased the exposure +1.50, and decreased the offset -0.0095. I went with this approach because I wanted to make the shirt colors pop out.
Original. A photo of students playing in an inflatable tunnel.
Altered - Rule of thirds. I changed the settings on selective color: cyan: -100, magenta: +25, and yellow: +100. Also, changed the landscape of the curve and increased the vibrance +25. I tried to make the inflated cource the focus of the eyes by bringing out its color.
Orginial. A memeber of Phi Tau as he was playing in a basketball tournament.
Altered - Portrait. I tried to capture his main facial features. I increased the saturation +100 and decreased the vibrance -100. The brightness was increased +50 and the contrast +100. I used the warming fliter effect and set the density at 100%
Original. A female competitor gets a shot up over a defender. I took this shot to capture some of the on-court action.
Altered - Action Shot. I looked to focus on the action and basketball shooting motion. I adjusted the curves and set the filter to cooling LBB, with a density +50%. Also, I increased the brightness +35, vibrance +25, and exposure +0.50. I decreased the contrast -25 and offset -0.1500.
