For this project, I created a vintage circus poster of an elephant.

I began with a photograph of an elephant. Next, I used a layer mask to cut out what I wanted. Next, I added a solid red background and began using he brush tool to add my design. I then applied a filter to both the elephant and the background to give it a vintage appearance.

Then I added text for the titling. I duplicated the layer and made the copy a little bigger to have an outlined effect. I then applied a grain filter, increased contrast, adjusted hue to be more yellow so that I could create a vintage look. I finished by distorting and warping the text to my desire.

Lastly, I added blue into the lines so that it wouldn't be as bland and finishing touches were adding the grain filter over everything.
