AIGA Design Conference Wayfinding Assignment

This assignment was a challenge to focus on color in designing way finding and other collateral for a conference. I chose to adapt this challenge for the virtual convention center in light of many conventions going virtual due to COVID-19.
In furthering the virtual conference idea, I wanted the following maps and signage to be part of a PDF download available to all participants. Included would be a surrogate for a conference program including schedule, maps, speaker information,and printable signage.
Instead of physical floor way-finding, I wanted to give a visual aid for navigating the website by adapting a site map into a virtual map. (on the left) The goal of the physical map (on the right) was to encourage adaption of the conference center into someone's home space.
