It's rare that a client gives me exactly what (he thinks) he wants; this project began with fairly acurate pencil sketches, and screen captures of fonts that he wanted. It was well within his budget for me to take his sketches and knock out the logo exactly as he requested it.
After he received the artwork, he wasn't as pleased as he thought he would be, and asked if I would come up with a more dynamic idea.
Redesign of logo, with a wine glass as the motif, and stylized letters.
After the final logo was delivered, the client decided to change the name of the business. This presented a challenge for about 5 minutes, as I noticed that the "O" could be added to the top of the existing logo. The font was also altered slightly, so the 's' and the 'a' on the logotype would match those of the stylized letters in the logo.
