Brief
Design a unique visual style for Brave an innovative web technology development firm based in Johannesburg. Brave identify themselves as explorers, innovators and creators. Brave are currently embarking on a new strategy to position themselves as the best in digital products and platform development. Firstly, understand the client’s mission, then develop research that will serve to direct the design phase. Build a strong and unified core identity, brand strategy, corporate identity booklet and visual style that aligns with their vision and values. Develop a brand CI that will be able to be given to any designer so that they can work on the brand. Include all visual assets, colour, visual tone, copywriting, clear space etc. 
Rationale
At Brave, we strive to create innovative and unique digital products that prioritize the needs of our clients. We are pioneers in the industry, constantly exploring and expanding our offerings to surpass the competition. Our team is made up of digital explorers with creative minds, dedicated to pushing the boundaries of what Africa can achieve in the digital industry. We aim to stand out not only with our products but also with our brand, which captures our unique roots and identity. 

To represent our bold and strong personality, we have chosen to draw inspiration from Shuri, a powerful inventor from the Marvel universe with African influence. Her sporty, bold, and African style aligns with our vision of Afro-futurism, and her strong family values resonate with our team. We have incorporated African print, digital visuals, and laser screens into our branding to create striking patterns that speak directly to our identity. 

Our logo is a simplistic 'B' icon that represents our innovative and exploratory approach to the digital field. We have chosen a bold and squared-off font to complement the logo and emphasize our brand's personality. Our slogan, "Digital Explorers," speaks to our commitment to exploring all digital possibilities, from software development to AR/VR. 

Our color palette is inspired by Africa's warmness and technology's freshness, featuring bold orange and bright blue, complemented by black and white for high contrast. We have chosen the Oswald font family for our branding, as it complements our logo and showcases strong shapes and continuous thickness. 

Our Brave icon patterns draw inspiration from African print, morse code, circuits, and mazes, and feature a spot color in either Brave Orange or Brave Blue. These patterns are used throughout our branding in various sizes and angles, elevating our brand's visual presence. 

Overall, our fresh and innovative look positions us as a leader in the digital community, ready to explore and expand the possibilities of what we can achieve.
